Celebration of World Red Cross Day

On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, a special awareness lecture was organized in the college campus under the guidance of the Principal. The programme aimed to spread awareness among students regarding humanitarian services, health awareness, first aid, and the importance of social service in society.
The programme was presided over by the Principal of the college, who addressed the students and highlighted the historic contribution of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement towards humanity. He motivated students to actively participate in social welfare activities and emphasized that service to humanity is the greatest service.
The programme was coordinated by Incharge Dr. Ravinder Singh, who welcomed the guests and students. He explained the significance of World Red Cross Day and informed students about the role of the Red Cross in disaster management, blood donation camps, medical assistance, and relief work during emergencies.
A special lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Narender Kumar, who elaborated on the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, voluntary service, and unity followed by the Red Cross organization. He encouraged students to develop social responsibility, compassion, and readiness to help needy people during difficult situations. He also highlighted the importance of first aid knowledge and health awareness among youth.
Faculty members and students participated enthusiastically in the programme. At the end of the session, the organizers expressed gratitude to all participants for making the event successful.
