The college was established in July, 2012 in a old school building in village. Since 2015 the college is running in a new, beautiful and airy building which is constructed by PWD from a little distance of the village in a 10.5 acre area.

The college initially started as a  girls college having the name as Govt. College Bahu, Jhajjar. The need of separate women Degree College was realized because most of the parents were not willing  to allow their daughters to study in Co-educational institution situated far from this area. The college was given status of an independent Govt. College Bahu in 2012. The Haryana Government granted 100% concession in tuition fees to all girls irrespective of economic or other status. It had the desired result and the number of girl students in the college began to rise every year. In 2012 it was hardly 170 but now it has outgrown its present attire has risen to almost 400. Thus the college that caters to the educational needs of the girls of about 20 nearly villages has been playing a significant and constructive role with the aims of spreading higher education among women folk creating better and more civilized citizen and awakening the young girls to their rights and duties.The college has been contributing a lot in spreading rural- women an education since its establishment.
